As lockdown measures ease and the country starts to get back to work the Automotive industry has come in to the spotlight as one that needs a boost after months of shutdown. It has been widely reported that the UK Government are considering giving drivers up to £6k in a new diesel and petrol car scrappage scheme - great news for electric car manufacturers and associated industry!

It is reported that industry business heads are calling on the Government to ensure that any post-lockdown economic rejuvenation aligns with the government’s wider environmental aims. Further detail is expected in an announcement on 6th July.

As well as boosting the sale of electric vehicles, we also need more charging points to help convince drivers that they will always be able to get home! Jaltek works with industry renowned companies on the manufacture of these points as well as working closely with numerous key bodies to help do our bit in driving innovation in vehicle electronics.
