Cyber Essentials is a UK Government-backed, industry-supported scheme to help organisations protect themselves against common online threats. It is operated by the National Cyber Security Centre (NCSC) and a primary objective is to make the UK a safer place to conduct business online by encouraging organisations to adopt good practice in information security. It includes an assurance framework and a simple set of security controls to protect information from threats coming from the internet.
It was developed in collaboration with industry partners, including the Information Security Forum (ISF), the Information Assurance for Small and Medium Enterprises Consortium (IASME) and the British Standards Institution (BSI), and is endorsed by the UK Government.
Jaltek has recently been assessed against the Cyber Essentials scheme test specification and certified as compliant. Please view our certificate here and contact us if you’d like more information on how this could benefit your business when working with us.
