Following a robust BSI audit covering all aspects of Jaltek’s processes and capabilities, continuing certification to AS9100 has been approved. AS9100 is an essential approval for major suppliers to the Aerospace and Military markets and this continuing certification shows Jaltek’s commitment to providing Electronics Manufacturing Services of the highest order to all its primary markets.

Neil Stanton, Jaltek’s Quality and Training Manager commented; “The BSI audit was as thorough as ever but Jaltek have been able to take full advantage of the findings to make improvements and employ best-practice where possible. This puts Jaltek in a strong position to meet and exceed all customer requirements as well as the requirements of AS9100C, ISO13485 and other Quality Standards.”

Jaltek has held Management Systems certification (AS9100 and ISO9001) with the British Standards Institution since 1999 and also holds approvals to ISO13485 (Medical Devices), BSI Kitemark to IPC-A-610 (workmanship standard for electronic assemblies) and ISO9001 for Design Services in addition to several product specific certifications such as ETL and Thatcham.
