Jaltek is thrilled to announce that we have recently started working with London based Quantum Security startup, Crypta Labs. Crypta Labs is developing a Quantum chip and software to secure the Industrial Internet of Things (IoT)
Commenting on their technology Joe Luong, CEO, said, ‘Our vision is to develop a Quantum Random Number Generator (QRNG) encryption chip small enough to secure the ‘Fatality Market’. In other words if the product in question were to be hacked the results could be fatal. This includes transportation, utilities, medical equipment, and other critical infrastructure.’
Random numbers are integral to securing encryption. Crypta Labs has developed a true random number by developing a Quantum Random Number Generator (QRNG) which - in the quantum world - the scientific community believes is the most secure method for random number generation.
Joe continues; ‘Although there is an existing market for a USB-sized Hardware Security Module (HSM) using Pseudo Random Number Generators, we are working with blue chip partners and key stakeholders who believe that Crypta Labs has developed the only market-ready solution. We are delighted to be bringing our chip to market with the help of Jaltek, who have over 30 years experience in this space’.
Stephen Blythe commented.. ‘We are very pleased to be working with Crypta Labs and look forward to helping develop such innovative technology.'
